He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. Psalm 25:9, 10 (NIV)
May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way! The Lord always proves faithful and reliable to those who follow the demands of his covenant.
What beautiful requests these are this morning!
(1) “May he show the humble what is right!” and
(2) “May he teach the humble his way!”
The Lord is there to provide both duty and direction. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time” (1 Peter 5:6 NASB).
What a promise concludes our meditation this morning: “The Lord always proves faithful and reliable to those who follow the demands of his covenant.”
