This oppressed man cried out and the Lord heard; he saved him from all his troubles. The Lord’s angel camps around the Lord’s loyal followers and delivers them.
The “oppressed man cried out and the Lord heard,” saving the man from “all his troubles.” The Lord’s response is immediate. Why? “The Lord’s angel camps around the Lord’s loyal followers. He not only “camps around” those who love the Lord, but the angel is there to deliver them from difficulty.
“Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24 NIV).
“Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, that your joy may be made full” (John 16:24 NASB).
