The word for today is kindness.
“The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simple-hearted; when I was in great need, he saved me” (Ps. 116:5-6).
“The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made”
(Ps. 145:8-9).
“And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Col. 3:12).
“In purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love” (2 Cor. 6:6).
“Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant” (1 Cor. 13:4).
“And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you” (Eph. 4:32).
“And the Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged” (2 Tim. 2:24).
Prayer: Lord, because of Your great love we are not consumed. Your compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.
