The word for today is praise.
“Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live” (Ps. 146:1-2).
“Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness” (Ps. 150:2).
“The heavens praise your wonders, O Lord, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones” (Ps. 89:5).
“For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods” (Ps. 96:4).
“Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name” (Ps. 103:1).
“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom” (Ps. 145:3).
“Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name” (Heb. 13:15).
“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Col. 3:16).
I’m singing the Doxology. Won’t you join me: “Praise God, from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.” Prayer: Praise to the Lord, the almighty, the king of creation!
