The word for today is warfare.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful
for the destruction of fortresses” (2 Cor. 10:3-4).
“Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier” (2 Tim. 2:3-4).
“Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you”(James 4:7).
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world” (1 Pet. 5:8-9).
We will win the war with the Lord’s PRESENCE, POWER, and PROTECTION.
Prayer: “…thank God! In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade” (2 Cor. 2:13b-14 MSG).
