The word for today is the Spirit.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you” (John 14:26).
“Who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge” (2 Cor. 1:22).
“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh … If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit” (Gal. 5:16, 25).
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” (Eph. 4:30).
“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 5:18).
“Do not quench the Spirit” (1 Thess. 5:19).
The Spirit of God is grieved by sin and quenched by resistance. Please Father, purify my heart and accept my total yieldedness to Your will.
Prayer: Spirit of the living God, come cleanse, fill, and use me in Your service.
