The word for today is accountability.

“So then let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another” (Rom. 14:19).

“Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to his edification” (Rom. 15:2).

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (Prov. 17:17).

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Eccles. 4:9-12).

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer” (Rom. 12:10-12).

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands” (Ps. 90:17).

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the future day of accountability scheduled in Your presence.
