May20_WorldThe word for today is grace.

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed” (2 Cor. 9:8).

“And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me” (2 Cor. 12:9).

“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need” (Heb. 4:1416).

“But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, ‘God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble’” (James 4:6).

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless” (Ps. 84:11).

And the Law came in that the transgression might increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more” (Rom. 5:20).

“And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you” (Rom. 16:20).

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” (2 Pet. 3:18).

Prayer: Lord, thank You that I am coming to One who is full of grace and truth. I am singing a verse of “Grace Greater Than All Our Sins”: “Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt, Yonder on Calvary’s mount out poured, There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt! Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that will pardon and cleanse within! Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that is greater than all our sins.”
