Wait patiently for the Lord! Wait confidently for him! Do not fret over the apparent success of a sinner, a man who carries out wicked schemes!
Here we are commanded to wait “patiently” and “confidently” on the Lord, not fretting over the “apparent success” of the bad guys. We are not to wait in resignation, but rather with expectation and excitement. Let us not waste our emotional energy on the wicked. The Lord, in His time, is going to take care of them as well.
