Psalm147_11The Lord grants success to the one whose behavior he finds commendable. Even if he trips, he will not fall headlong, for the Lord holds his hand.

These verses offer two observations and a reason.

Observations:

(1) “The Lord grants success to the one whose behavior he finds commendable” – in other words, He blesses the obedient heart;

(2) “Even if he trips, he will not fall headlong” – failure is not fatal or final.

Why?  The reasons is that: “the Lord holds his hand.”

I feel like singing the well known chorus: “Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand.”
