November 6—God’s Will
The words for today are God’s will.
“Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father” (Gal. 1:4).
“So as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God” (1 Pet. 4:2).
“And the world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:17).
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10).
“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way” (Ps. 25:9).
“For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding” (Col. 1:9).
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Prov. 3:5-6).
“For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother” (Matt. 12:50).
“Not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart” (Eph. 6:6).
“For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men” (1 Pet. 2:15).
Prayer: Lord, teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
