September 27—Success
The word for today is success.
“Then he prayed, ‘O Lord, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham’” (Gen. 24:12).
“In everything he did he had great success, because the Lord was with him” (1 Sam. 18:14).
“Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to” (Deut. 15:10).
“Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Josh. 1:8).
“He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me” (2 Sam. 22:20).
“Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return” (Luke 6:38).
“After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10).
“Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all” (1 Chron. 29:12).
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you” (Matt. 6:33).
Prayer: Lord, You crown the year with Your bounty, and Your carts overflow with abundance.
